[etni] Frivolous Lawsuits

To all you detectives out there..well done for finding out the lawsuits weren't 
real.  I suspected as much when I handed them out to my pupils.  I told them 
that they had come from the internet and I asked them if they thought they were 
true.   This elicited a great discussion on the reliability of internet 
information, we also talked then about the reliability of  other media 
including newspaper reporting too (but thats another story..).   This was all 
in addition to the actual activity with the lawsuits themselves.  I think it 
was a great lesson and I highly recommend the activity. I think I probably am 
speaking for Veronica here too ... I don't think it matters at all whether they 
were true or not.
