 Why do we continue teaching? Here is my answer. I wrote a few days ago
that I received my walking papers from my one of my schools. My
students in grade 9 (all 38 of them! ) got wind of this on the
grapevine. They got together and wrote a beautiful letter to the
principal expressing how much they enjoy my classes and how educational
they are. They expressed how much they appreciate my concern and caring
for each student and our great atmosphere in the classroom. They wrote
"we request in the strongest of voices that he remains in our school." 
 
 The letter took my breathe away.
