"Have a Laugh Bell." 

Have a special bell in the classroom.  When you ring it, everyone stops what 
they are doing and laughs.  Have them practice laughing when the bell rings.  
Ring it at special times.  Ring it when you just want to be playful.  Ring it 
when some in the class, are starting to get distracted and may get into 
trouble.  In this case, it becomes a fun way to redirect student?s thoughts to 
being positive.  This works for all ages.  It?s great to have opportunities to 
laugh each day.
