Creating ?Open-Source? Classroom Communities: An Introduction to Technology in
the Writing Classroom
The "Open Source" can be a productive model for collaborative classroom
pedagogy. An ³Open Source² approach to learning encourages students to take
responsibility for their education and helps them improve critical thinking
skills and writing abilities. As part of an open-source teaching ethic,
blogs, wikis, and portfolio-based evaluation can be used to strengthen
community and collaboration in the writing classroom.
All are welcome
