Subject: module D
From: "Silver" <eliza_nm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
I am surprised that there were no responses to the module D winter
bagrut. My students told me that they tried looking up the word
"educators" in the dictionary (one of the multiple choice items for one
of the questions) and they could not find it. Some of them, being
insecure 4 pointers, did not choose that answer (the correct one) since
they could not verify it. I was surprised that "educator" is actually
NOT an entry in the Oxford dictionary. Is it an oversight on the part
of the exam writers? Shouldn't students be able to verify the correct
answer by looking it up in the dictionary, especially at the 4 point
level?
Any feedback would be appreciated. My students are waiting for an
"official" answer. (I also posted this question at anglit.net.)
