 Hi all-   Friday, December 23, 2005
 
 As you know,  I teach at Tomashin High School in Rishon. I have twelfth
grade students who would like to take the Translation course and Bagrut
this year.  Tomashin does not yet offer this because I have not yet
taken the course, and we are  considered an 'externi' school.
 
 Questions:
 
 1)  Where can 'externi' high school students take the Translation
course? Can they join an existing 'interni' course as 'talmidei hutz'
from outside the 'regular' schools in any way?
 
 2)  These kids are all from the Rehovot/Rishon/Nes Ziona/Be'er
Yaakov/Gedera area. They are all very bright five-pointers who are
willing to do literally ANYTHING in order to do this, including making
up all the work etc. They have friends in 'interni' schools who are
taking Translation this year who are willing to help them catch up, and
are they  interested in using the upcoming Hanukkah vacation to make a
concerted effort in this direction.
 
 So,  please respond ASAP and my students will be eternally grateful to
you! (One needs to be inducted into the army already in August, so he
doesn't have too much leeway schedule-wise.
