 Hello! On behalf of all the teachers here at Ulpanat Tzvia, and the two
other regional schools belonging to Sedot Negev Area Council I would
like to thank Avi Tsur for coming to be with us for part of the exam
today. We all appreciated it greatly; it was so supportive and
caring!When my pupils came out of the D and F exams and saw my
Coordinator with this tall man, they said, "Who is he?" before Shoshi
Feldman had a chance to introduce him. Then, when they heard that
although he lives way up north, he cared enough about our school(s) and
especially those pupils going through such a rough patch right now to
come and be with us, they were very moved. Thank you very much Avi!!
 
I recommended today in my teachers' room that teachers of all subjects
should write similar e-mails to "the powers at be" in their fields as
well on our pupils' behalf. Maybe, just maybe, we can do something.
Nobody one month ago could forsee such a sudden escalation of violence.
May G-d protect the innocents of the world everywhere and bless us all
with a lovely, restful Shavuot! And may we all get our "second wind" in
time for the July final!
