  Hello    I am working on stories with intermediate pupils. I was
looking for ideas and found this on Etni, Storytelling in the English
Classroom A workshop given at the Spring ETAI conference, April 8,
2003, at the Academic Arab Teachers College of Education, Haifa.    
the writer  Leslie Cohen states that in addition to the lecture (which
I could access on etni), she handed out fables to be paraphrased and
adapted for use in classrooms, and model worksheets for inducing the
students to retell the stories and discuss them.  Can anyone send me
the fables and the sheets or may be the email of Leslie Cohen? many
