Dear List,
I've been teaching in my current school for 16 yearsand we have always divided
the Gmul between the Yod Aleph and Yod Bet teachers as we felt it was fairer.
So, Yod Bet 4 and 5 points teachers get 2 hours while the respective Yod Aleph
teachers get 1 and 1.5 hours. Similarly for 3 points and the English speakers'
teacher in Yod gets 1.5 hours while in Yod Aleph English Speakers' teacher gets
2 hours. I see this continuing at our school since we are putting in Yod Aleph
classes for one module
(A, C or E) according to their level leaving 2 modules for Yod Bet.
The few borderline kids will do two modules in Yod Aleph and will continue
depending on their results.
This idea may help someone out there!
