You hit the nail right on the head! Sadly, I believe the
Moed B exams are already collecting dust in a hidden safe
somewhere and it's already too late now to change anything..
Why the $^%##%$@#%#% make the 3 pt. exam so frustrating for
these kids when we all know it is good only in that it
entitles a pupil to a úòåãú áâøåú ?? Personally, I think that the big
decision makers are
surrounded by and judge pupils according to those from the
Herzelia , Renana; Givatayim areas where parents can afford
non-stop private lessons; etc. etc. When I begged the folks
upstairs in the boardroom to add 15 minutes to D as they did
in G, I was told that "after much research and thought we have
concluded that the alloted time is enough." I beg to differ!!!
I teach in a development town in the Negev. Funny as it may
sound, luckily here we hear artillerary non-stop and our pupils
live in areas bombarded by kassam rockets . (One of my pupils
was killed last January in Sederot and another, my pupil this
year injured.) So, thankfully, my dear principal managed to
get OUR pupils äòøëú æîï
in ALL subjects as we are "an area surrounding Gaza. " If I
lived in Yerucham or Dimona, I'd be dealing with the same type
of pupil and 1 1/4 of an hour is NOT enough time for weak four
pointers to complete the composition and unseen. Does anybody
care? NAAaaaa...... We are a development town; not a major city
populated by movers and shakers.
That's the way it is unfortunately. I hope that some of those
movers and shakers occasionally come here to mingle with us
plebians and hear what's going on??????
