I don't think Carole King is "lame". I used "You've Got a Friend" and "Where
You Lead" in my 10th grade class this year (I think these were your lessons,
Adele). I was concerned that they would think the songs were too old or just
plain stupid, so imagine my surprise when a few kids started singing! Turns
out that they knew the songs from one of the tv shows they watch and they
thought it was very "cool" that I brought them in for a lesson.
Btw, you and I must own the same CD because the songs that you mentioned here
are also on the one I have!
