Amazingly, I had the exact same experience in my class, although now that we
have done a few, they are getting used to the tricks, and performing much
better.  I can't wait to see how they do on the harder levels .

I was actually quite unhappy with a few points on the first test in that
book, and wrote to ECB complaining about the wording of some of the
questions, and the answers that are given in the answer key (some of which,
I did not agree with at all!) They wrote back (the editor of the book,
herself) as well as the sales rep. explaining their outlook on it - and
while I do not agree with the answers the editor gave me, I donot always
agree with the answer keys for the REAL exam, either, so we have to be
flexible in what we accept, as well as preferably, working with and
consulting a colleague.
