 MA in Literature
  
 The Program
 The Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics in Ben-Gurion University 
of the Negev offers a unique MA program in Literature that combines an 
innovative multidisciplinary approach to Western culture with in-depth analysis 
of literatures in English. The courses are taught by internationally renowned 
scholars who employ a wide range of approaches to literature, including 
feminist and cultural studies, the history of reading, psychoanalysis, 
reception theory, art, and music.
 Students come from all backgrounds, something which makes for a pluralist 
academic community and a lively exchange of ideas.
The program, taught in English, is of special interest to graduate students in 
the Negev, and will appeal to all those seeking to enrich their cultural 
knowledge and qualifications during a sabbatical leave or as a step to 
acquiring advanced qualifications with a view to doctoral research and an 
academic career.
