This is a repeat of part of the message that I sent out a few days ago
on fonts, with info. About APhont:
"Those looking for a good font might try:
http://www.aph.org/products/aphont.html
Aphont is free from the American Printing House of the Blind--it is
advertised for low vision, but also is used often for those with
learning difficulties that translate to difficulties for print."
They used to have a direct download--not they are asking people to
register--but it is still free!
If you go to the site, they will ask you to submit information for the
purpose of sending a CD with Aphont information.
http://www.aph.org/products/aphont_orderform.html
But the font is still free--they apparently will send a CD with the font
when it is ready.
There is also a presentation about the font's characteristics and
benefits, as well as some research findings.
Chances are, that is you register for the CD, you will get some
interesting information and applications about the font, and perhaps
additional great software from the America Printing House of the
Blind...they have some amazing programs!
