  I agree with her assessment of the real reason why the government hasn't 
reacted the way any normal government would when its citizens are being bombed. 
 The same was decades ago in Kiryat Shmoneh.
   
  And to the elite of Israel, we, the teachers, are just a bunch of low-class 
loser "fri'erim."  Our salaries (per hour) can drop and the Histadrut cheers.  
And, unfortunately, they're right.  Proof's in the pudding!  Have the Histadrut 
teachers walked out of their union?  No, and they won't.  Have Israelis taken 
to the streets after 7 years of rocket attacks on the south of the country?  
No, not even when kibbutzim have been hit.
   
  There's something dangerously paralyzed/disengaged in the Israeli psyche.
