[etni] ETAI, 27.12.05

Dear friends,

WOW!! another ETAI conference is now behind us and what a beautiful day it turned out to be. The rain and stormy weather of yesterday and the day before may have given you the time you so needed to be at home and relax but then today the SUN shone down on us and the turnout was GREAT, over 400 participants and so many young faces - what a pleasure.

As always the Arab college did everything possible to make the event memorable, homely, and it is such a pleasure and honor to work with all concerned. A very big thank you to the PUBLISHERS who as always added color and content to the day. I was so pleased to see how busy they were and we look forward to sharing our conferences with them. We take pride in the fact that we have such a good group of presenters, quality educators willing to share their knowledge and expertise.

And a final note to my co-convenors, the quiet hard working team with whom it is always such a pleasure to work with. YES, the conference was a success and believe it or not we have already had our summing-up meeting which is in fact also the first meeting to plan ahead for an even better meeting next year.
