[etni] Condensing English hours

Greetings, all!

Considering the NBA requirements actually increase the
hours needed to teach vocabulary & grammar & genre &
writing style (or whatever they're called now),
reading & listening comprehension (or whatever they're
called now), cover the Literature in a meaningful way,
do the projects correctly, and perhaps do the
extensive reading in class (because not doing it in
class turns into a farce), I wonder what Judi really
means in the message below:

Are you just teaching to the test? Is this now the
essence of the English Language? Are you skipping the
required literature because it does not appear in the
exam? Have you totally given up on the required
extensive reading because it doesn't appear in the
exam?

I'm really curious about how you figured out how to do
so much in less time.
