Hi everyone,
I'm attaching the following excerpt from the brochure for the British
Theater show performing at the women's Festival in Holon.
It's about. "WC" - a sketch comedy in the Holon Festival - my first
attempt was too brief.
"Fresh from two complete sell out runs in London and at the Edinburgh
Festival 2007, the Umbrella Birds, four of London's best new female comics,
present WC, a sketch show about the bizarre tensions, drunken excesses and
surreal mini-relationships of women's toilets.
Written and created by Emily Watson Howes, star of the Cambridge Footlights'
Non-Sexual Kissing ('Exquisitely crafted comedy' - Chortle, 'Brilliant
observations, brilliant sketches' - Three Weeks), with additional material
from if.comeddies Award winner 2006 Mark Watson, 'WC' is an explosive hour
of literate, barbed, unexpected, occasionally foul-mouthed comedy, providing
an unprecedented comic treatment of a place where public meets private, and
serious-minded professionals meet rabbit-ears-wearing morons on hen nights."
