to participate in the Conference. Your participation in the conference will
be greatly appreciated. 

We are sure that the Asia TEFL Conference will provide all the participants
with an excellent opportunity to be familiar with what's going on teaching
and learning English in Asia and around the world, to meet a lot of
distinguished ELT scholars, to make many friends, and to have cross-cultural
understanding. 

The success of the 2nd Asia TEFL International Conference will entirely
depend on you.
Your cooperation and support will be greatly appreciated.

In another letter, the President wrote:
"As I wrote to you several times before, there are no membership dues for
the Asia TEFL members 
and Asia TEFL will be mainly run by funds from government organizations,
business circles, and corporations.
If we want to get more funds from these sources, we actually need as many
members as possible.
That is, the more members we have, the more fund we will be able to get."
 
The Journal and the Newsletter of the new association should be appearing in
the next few months.
Your joining the association will add to the number of Israeli members and
so add to our status.
