[etni] A Generation Gap Didacting Unit on the making

Shalom Etniers!

I am getting a unit ready as part of my duties for a course I am taking. It
is still under constructon, but since I see Etni as a place where we can share
ideas, suggestions and the like, I have decided to invite whoever wants to see
it while it is still "on the making". Some of you may, perhaps, try some of it
on different classes.

I will surely welcome comments, suggestions (for example, thanks daniel Cohen
for suggesting "Yakety Yak" and to those who sometime ago wrote about "Father
and Son" and whose contribution i will acknowledge the moment I find the names)
, extra activities etc.

Here' the link. (It's on the school site I am in charge of)

Remember: it is by no means the final product, since I still have to work on
and upload major chunks (a good teachers' page is a must, to mention but one
example)

I am taking a long "Meidanut" course ( I wonder what the English word for
meidanut is - Would it be Information Science? It sound too "big" a phrase) at
Tel Aviv University. As part of my duties, I have to create a didactic unit (I
wonder what the English translation for "Iechida Metukshevet" is). I have
decided to do it on the Generation Gap since it will be the unit on which I
will soon be working with a Tenth Grade class I teach (here's a blog I have
been using with this class) (Incidentally, i wrote about it on the ETAI forum
last summer)

Well, that's all for now. On this subject of the Web 2.0 stuff, remember:
"Sharing is growing" and not "Competing is growing". Well Etni and Etai do the
first
  Bye
  Eduardo (Kugel High School, Holon)
