yes, but the freshmeat subscription is only for major releases.
pre-releases aren't announced so far because they often have bugs or are
broken.

which problems do you have with gcc3.4? i've just tried it with
"gcc-3.4 (GCC) 3.4.0 20040403 (prerelease) (Debian)" and have no
problems so far, no difference to gcc3.3.

the gotos will disappear again because i'll probably change the
mkdir dialog some more and then they won't be needed anymore. :)
