If you can repeat this behaviour, please advise what file(s) are in
~/.config/emelfm2
and
/root/.config/emelfm2,
before and after you run 'gksu emelfm2', and whether the files were
last-modified before or after the emelFM2 session.
There should be, for the relevant user:
cache
config-[your locale code]
re-saved at the end of the session.
