short keys for plugins

Hi all,
I'm trying to set a short key for the clone plugin but can't find how do to it. In the configure dialog / short keys, the popup menu that shows all the possible actions to associate to a short key does not show any submenu for the plugin choice, unlike other choices like file, list, configure... 

Is there something wrong with my e2 installation ?
