What are the consequences or drawbacks, if any to apt-get install
gcc-3.2 if I currently am running gcc-3.3?

good advice on the apt-listbugs!!! I have been a redhat user since 1994
or 1995. I have been running debian on my laptop and webserver for about
a year--but they don't get messed with as much as this desktop. Thanks
for the much needed tip!
