well, it seems i haven't fixed the default configuration everywhere. the
old action system has been removed. (the ones with SYSTEM or INTERFACE
at the beginning.) you should use the new action system, now. you could
use "!?open in other" (without the quotes). ! is to surpress macro
expansion and ? to call an action. later on, when the filetypes have
been redone, it will be possible to select actions from a list as it is
already possible for the other tree options.
another possibility would be to set focus on the other pane first and
then simply call "cd". you could use ";!?panes.switch;cd %%F" (without
the quotes). the first ; is to activate multiple action mode and then
the two different actions are run one after another.
