Do all apps properly handle command parameter(s) with escaped whitespace ?
I don't know for all apps. I just tried "oowriter my\ file.odt" from an
xterm an noticed that it worked. If any doubt, maybe the selected items
in file panes could be inserted on the command line (with Control+Enter)
surrounded by double quotes, instead of with whitespaces escaped ?
