emelfm2 0.1.8 Change Permissions causes crash

Hi,

With the new version trying to change permissions causes it to crash.
I am using Ubuntu Dapper. It crashes whether or not I am root and
whether or not it is compiled with gamin enabled. Running from a
terminal gives no error message when it crashes.

I have used the programme for 2 years and it is my preferred gui file
manager and have not had this problem before. I had the mkdir problem
but that is simply fixed.
