All things being equal, I tend to agree with you.

But for default purposes, I was guided by the information published by fd.o. 
You probably will have noticed that I dropped in both the "related categories" 
nominated for the category "file manager". And the sorts of things nominated 
for "utility" are "Small utility application, "Accessories", exampled by 
calculator, clock, editor etc.

So I'm inclined to leave the defaults as they are. Anyhow, the desktop file 
would normally be tailored by a distro, to suit its own menu requirements.
