How widespread is compliance with filesystem hierarchy standard / linux
standard base, nowadays ?
/mnt would seem to be more than where "the system administrator may temporarily
mount a filesystem". A place for permanently mounting partitions with other
operating systems, and other filesystems (via FUSE etc).
