These are Debian/Ubuntu names, right? I'm on Fedora and as I wrote in my
previous mail I have installed
* hal-devel-0.5.10-1.fc8.2
* dbus-devel-1.1.2-9.fc8
* dbus-glib-devel-0.73-7.fc8

Thanks Uwe, the patch works fine. Nevertheless I need to do some more
testing if the new hal code really works as expected.
