The big fix yet to be done is to move from deprecated to current gtk list 
widgets. This is a big piece of work, the tentacles are spread throughout the 
codebase. Tooar says the old code will stay, in parallel with the new, until 
the latter is working properly. So expect some more size increases for a while 
...
