You got it, Tom. It's looking in /usr/local/share/pixmaps (which
doesn't exist), and they're really in /usr/share/pixmaps.
In light of that Lane, can you tell what I need to do different, next
time I build the deb file?
Let me say at the first that I really appreciate anyone who produces
.deb's for us. I have rotten luck compiling things.
The situation here is kind of weird. I have two versions of Ubuntu in
separate partitions on my computer, Gutsy and the new Hardy alpha. In
Gutsy, the emelfm2 icon directory is in /usr/local/share/pixmaps. But
there is no usr/local/share/pixmaps in Hardy.
I just tried uninstalling emelfm2 and verified that the icon directory
was gone. I then created a /usr/local/share/pixmaps and reinstalled
emelfm2. No good, the emelfm2 icon directory was put in /usr/share/pixmaps.
I did an /aptitude purge emelfm2/ and then reinstalled it. The icon
problem was just the same. However, what makes it really weird to me is
that the two icons that I had manually edited their location in the
config dialog were displayed! It's like the config file, wherever it is,
was not deleted by aptitude.
Where are the config files, anyway?
