Hello Tom,
With the new release there is an issue that makes life difficult when
browsing using the keyboard only (like the lyx style browsing).
emel has this feature of pre-selecting _and_ pre-focusing the item
that was previously selected when last time browsing the directory.
With 0.3.4, it still does this. However, when entering a directory
(previously browsed or not) it persistently tends to assign focus to
one item, and selection to another. Thus browsing becomes completely
counter-intuitive.
This behaviour can be easily noticed when using "select first item in
the pane" and a "proper" GTK theme (one that shows selection _and_
focus).
If you need a more detailed description, tell me, and I'll also
provide some screen shots.
Till soon,
Liviu
