The current-session config data should always be updated, and the config file 
updated when "commit" is activated (i.e. not yet for "apply" or not ever for 
"discard")

Yes.

So, similar request to last time - after editing/adding a new 
hotkey/keybinding, what is the output from a "keys" command ?
