err, now that I looked, instead of relying on memory, your config dir is almost
certainly set in accordance with $XDG_CONFIG_HOME. That would make it
~/.config/emelfm2 - just as you reported !
But the trash dir function did not similarly check for $XDG_DATA_HOME.
Now, ready for the next release, it does so. The default trash becomes
~/.local/share/Trash/files. But if they exist, other trash dirs named .Trash or
.Trash-nnn (where nnn is the current user's UID) and located in the topmost
directory of a mounted device (drive, partition), will be used for trashing
items on that device. This is the current XDG trash standard.
