A bit more on that. It seems that Ctrl clicking to deselect the last
selected file, then Ctrl clicking any other file to select results
in the second file in the dir list being selected, rather than the
file under the mouse pointer. If that file happens to be out of view,
e2 scrolls up to put it in view.
