Turns out that gtk is not happy about some things done in v.0.1.3 to support
"drag-selection". FWIW, after a double-click (on any item) a triple-click will
succeed, as will a third double-click !
The fix involves e2 itself taking a more active role in processing
double-clicks. This is more than just a few changed lines, so, I think, is best
left until another release or official patch.
Curiously, removal of the change formerly suggested in this thread has no
effect, i.e. re-focusing now works properly without that patch !
