Some subset of full history 'expansion' would be feasible, but using common '!' 
prefix would be a problem, that's already assigned to another purpose, at start 
of commands. Maybe some new % macro ?

If WITH_CUSTOMMOUSE, yes. Otherwise no. Gtk's word-separator characters are not 
quite sufficient for e2 purposes.
