So we have some investigation to do, as it still works here, and I can't think

Now fixed. Apply stays open, all others close.

Yes, anything before the rightmost / (if any) in the new name is ignored now.
That fake move capability is gone for good. It stuffed up trash processing
(where rename(s) may be needed in related dir(s)).
