/I guess you just need to set it up so they have no legal obligation on the house. /

Yep. That's implicit with the reverse mortgage. I don't even have to change my will.

If I gotta stick around until everything's done...well, honestly, I don't wanna live...well, I've been thinking a lot about that and I just don't know. I look at some of my friends and they're doing well...and then there are others who I see starting to have some "issues" and...well, as another friend says, "gettin old ain't for wimps." I guess I'll just live like I have for the last 21 years...one day at a time.

I dunno.

You're going to outlive us all I fear. You know what the craft ladies say, don'tcha? God doesn't call you home until all your projects are complete. I'm safe....

First thing to consider here. My kids don't want my house. I've already covered it with 'em and both sons (and daughters-in-law) said that they'd rather see me comfortable in my retirement than house poor so that there would be a house that they didn't want when I die.
