I don't under stand how people do this where it snows much more, where do they
put it? I can hardly get the snow up over the piles on the sides of the driveway
and into my neighbors yard now :)
This is not much fun, It wouldn't be half as bad if people would slow down
driving and be more careful. Its amazing how stupid the people are, being
interviewed by the news when they flipped their cars on the interstate

Is in for the 4th time to have the heater worked on- it has under 5,000 miles on
it. She has been driving it with no heat- and its gonna be 30 below tonight.

Boy, our wind chill is -30 to -40 today in Omaha... tonight and tomorrow
night
forcasting all time record lows of -25 degrees- never in recorded history
back
to 1880(I think they said???) has it been this cold. December was a record
snowfall for us this year(29 inches-5 more than the last record), and
January
hasn't slowed down much, we have had 10 inches since the first of the year,
there is nowhere to put it and our snow removal structure is not equipped
for
this, and the economy has killed off making it work. Not to mention they
said
on the news 60% of the country is dealing with more snow than they are used
to,
so we can't call in trucks from other places like we have in years past.
This place is a mess, I showed a bunch of houses this weekend, one had 6
foot
wood privacy fence that you could only see the top of the decorative posts
all
the way around the yard- and the owners had a Jack Russel Terrior !!!
where do
those dogs go?
Thank god for the truck this year, It has gotten our family around nicely
and
kept our buns toasty :)

The pan finally got in teusday. Picked it up on the way home yesterday
and it's still in the back of the wagon along with a sheet of hardibacker.
Will work on it for sure this weekend. Couldn't find a plain shower
drain at Lowes so next stop to Home Depot I'll pick one up.
As for today it's cold. 21* right now and at some point it's supposed
to get to 13. The wind chill is 8* right now and supposed to get a few
degrees below 0 today too. Won't warm up till sunday when the low will be
25*.
Funny thing is it has been colder and we have gotten more snow than
Detroit this year. They have been having the best winter my uncle can
remember.
Will take pics as soon as I start fitting the pan.
