I had no idea you could get a liquid cooled PC?

Seriously?

Looks like the Windows deal for students has gone up to $65:

Your daughter in law may be able to get a better price at her
bookstore, especially if she is taking a computer class. I should
have bought a 2nd copy.

On the sound card I would read reviews at Newegg... not sure where
else to look... maybe the AVforums?

Good news on the dual monitors... Windows 7 will recognize and set
them up for you when you plug them in... truly plug and play. You can
adjust them by going to screen resolution (right click the desktop, or
go to the control panel... many ways to get there... there is a search
function on every folder that is handy). You will LOVE dual
monitors... makes working much easier. Also, you can remote in from
your new PC to the old, so you can have the old PC screen sitting in a
window on your desktop - might be handy during the transition.

This PC stuff has become easier than it used to be... very plug and play.
