another puzzle solved - excellent!
Today, I took the pigtail for the trans that I kept from the parts car (for just such an occasion) and wired it to a hot, and a momentary switch. Then I grounded the same pin that the kit grounded to the case. The lockup worked flawlessly. In 2, 3, or OD whenever I hit the switch. It let go every time I released it too. BIG difference in RPM's when this locks and should save a lot of gas, and keep it from heating up too.
