|
| Saturday 4th February 1967 at Lydden Hill
On a cold February day back in 1967, the sport of Rallycross was born right
here at Lydden Hill. Back then who could have imagined that just 50 years later
the sport would be as popular as it is today.
Here at Lydden Hill we are preparing to celebrate this momentous occasion on
the weekend of the 27th & 28th May when the FIA World Rallycross Championship
returns to the circuit.

| Off track will be an array of cars from the early days of the sport through
to the Group B era and then right up to modern Rallycross. A number of the cars
will also take to the circuit throughout the weekend, some of which will be
driven by famous drivers from the across the years.
This is set to be the celebration of the year and is one not to be missed.
