I use Southwest Plastics for combs and covers. I purchased my binding
machine from them also. It is capable of punching up to 21 holes, so
we can do legal size paper if need be. There is a little pullout
lever that you can pull out if you don't want a hole to be punched.
It was about $300 but that was nine years ago. The machines are much
more economical now. However, mine is made of medal and I've never
had a moments trouble with it.

Could I have some suggestions on where to buy plastic combs or
spines - 19 hole version for binding books together? I live in the US.
