Ann, make sure the Maximize icon at the top right corner of your screen is
activated. You may not be able to access this icon with JAWS or you may hear
graphic xxx. Try Ctrl+Space bar to maximize your window. If that doesn't
work, have someone who can see the icons check the setting. In the recent
past, I had set the window to maximize, but I had to have someone click the
maximize icon in the top right of the window. There was another icon in the
left top corner that was set to maximize when I was maximizing the window,
but clicking the maximize icon in the top right corner was independent for
some reason.

I have just started having this problem today. When I use insert-pagedown to
hear the status line in Duxbury jaws says "current style none, page one,
continue cancel."I used to hear the column number.
