It works as long as the graphic isn't hand written.

  If you have Kurzweil and can open it in there, then save it as a word 
document, you can translate in Duxbury. I'm not sure if that words with a pdf 
that is a graphic.

  You will need to open the file in Adobe Reader, and provided the text is not 
an image of text, save it as Text.

   

  You will then be able to open the .txt file in DBT or Word.
