[duxuser] Re: page numbering

Hi Folks
After I embossed my document I found that the filler line extended from left to
right and the print page number was at the right hand end of the line, just
like I wanted it. However, the filler line extended onto the next line and at
the right hand of that line was the first word on the new print page. How can
I keep the filler line just to the first line with the page number?

Hi, Ann,

I had the same problem as you had with the page numbering in Duxbury. David is
correct in marking the print page numbering in Word. You probably need to
download a patch from the Duxbury website as I did. I hope I can explain the
sequence of steps properly, since I had sighted assistance.

1. Go to the Duxbury website, duxburysystems.com

2. Apparently, you can click on any of the main headings.
You need to find the Site Index.

3. Go to Products link

4. Then go to Demos, Updates and other downloads

5. Then find Downloadable Services, Releases and patches.

If you enter on dBT 10.4-patch1, it should download a file called, I believe,
duxmacro.doc. Hopefully, it will be downloaded in the proper folder.

Since I have my rint page numbering marked in word, I now see page numbering
automatically in all documents although most of the time I don't need it.

I hope this will be helpful.

Good luck.

The message I got was that it had failed and the only choice I had was to
accept the ok. I'll try again.

Hello, Anne.

You need to let it run the macro.

page numbering
I got some really weird warning about a duxbury macro failing when I tried
changing the show print page numbers in the word importer. When I tried
opening the document in the textbook format, I got an error message saying
print page numbers would not be shown. I never saw a message like this before
when running duxbury.
