Hi Christine,

I think you may using the wrong Code. I suggest using [pv1] [sd1]

[pv1] says "make the next new page number 1".

[sd1] says "page advance to a right facing page - i.e. where the sequence is an odd number".

George.

Subject: [duxuser] page numbering:

I am looking for some help please!

I am wishing to produce a volume of doublesided braille which is comprised of many small documents.

I require each document to commence on a page 1 which needs to be the front of the page ie: the right-hand side when the braille volume is opened flat.

I have the braille page number on page 1 not showing, so that the first page number to show is page 2.

I am able to use the pg1 code to force the page 1, and I am able to use the sd1 code to force the next page of braille to be an odd page (righthand one).

However, I am unable to get these commands to work together and find that if my document ends on for example page 3, and I then insert a pg1 code and a sd1
code, my next document will begin on a righthand page, but it will be marked as page 2 which of course is not what I require.

Any help in better understanding these codes will be much appreciated.
