Hi Teri,
Although I'm not familiar with the template you're using, I may be able to
help you solve this problem. You need to find out what's in the H1 style
as defined in your template. When the Table of Contents generator was
added to DBTW, the H1, H2, and H3 styles in the Standard template were
changed by inserting [rps] and [rpe] codes. George can confirm this, but
from what you say, the template you're using was never modified. If you
let DBTW insert the RPE codes, this should make the headings appear as they
should.

For some reason, the heading "note to braille edition" will not appear in the contents even though I have used the h1 style. I can't find anything different in what I've done this time to what I've done in the past when it's worked.
Also, each time I use the contents generator with this type of british braille template, I get the prompt: "this document does not have the rp codes in the header in order for dbt to generate a table of contents.
